London Motorcycle Show 2017
Thank You to all who visited us.
The London Motorcycle Show proved once again why it is so highly regarded in the Manufacturers’ calendar. With a record crowd of 40,000 motorcycle enthusiasts, Touratech UK took a prestigious position alongside respected brands such as Triumph and Honda to showcase the best that the adventure market has to offer in parts and accessories.
We met hundreds of riders during the three day event at London’s Excel over the 17th to 19th February 2017.
Our team of seven literally talked the ‘legs off a donkey’ for the whole show. Non-stop we showcased new products such as the hydro-formed one-piece engine guard for the BMW and Africa Twin, demonstrated five kitted bikes with every gadget and item of luggage you could dream of, and were swamped with visitors wishing to try on our helmets, boots and clothing. Plus somewhere in the mix we also gave out our iconic ‘brick’ of a catalogue and leaflets to our upcoming Travel Event in May. 5th to the 7th at TT UK in sunny Ystradgynlais, SA9 1JW.
We were fortunate enough to rub shoulders with the elite adventure riders who visited to say ‘hi’ at our stand and we were blessed to present on the Adventure Stage over the three days with the well-travelled rider, Nathan Millward.
Introducing more and more riders to the #1 Adventure Parts and Accessories supplier in the UK has and continues to be a pleasure. Meeting more and more riders who are better informed of our products and what they expect from their travels never gets old. Each rider we met and spoke with recounts their adventure in a unique and interesting way that shows how diverse we have to be as a company I what we offer, to be able to sell in this market.
As our pictures show, we re-worked our whole stand in the weeks leading up to the show to demonstrate more products under our well-known categories, such as Waterproof, Seats, Luggage, Panniers, Protection, Helmets, Boots, Clothing, GPS Holders, Suspension, Screens.
All in all the show was a resounding success with new and old friendships forged, which just goes to show why the adventure market breed so many nice people.
And for next year? Well we’ll take a well-deserved rest first and unpack our whole showroom ready for business as usual on the Monday morning. But we won’t be resting for long, we’re off to the MCN Scotland Show next month, so you’re more than welcome to pop by and say “Ye raff yer heid if yer ain’t bean tae Touratech!”.
See you soon in Bonny Scotland and once again thank you to all who visited us at the London Motorcycle Show 2017.
